Welcome to New Mexico & Beyond!

Hi! I’m Mark, the New Mexico Travel Guy, and this is my blog New Mexico & Beyond. This blog documents my travels within the great State of New Mexico, and a few places beyond. My current focus is on visiting EVERY town in my home state of New Mexico.  But rather than check off a list of places as quickly as possible, I intend to savor it by writing one blog post every other week (a new post every other Monday), highlighting events, travel advice, photos, and the people who live in this amazing Land of Enchantment. You can reach this site from www.newmexicotravelguy.com or www.nmbeyond.com.

As for the “and Beyond” part of this blog, I still travel abroad from time to time, often to some off-the-beaten path destinations that might be of interest.  I tend to avoid larger cities and focus on small to medium-sized towns rather than the big-city tourist circuit. I’ll share some of these stories with you as well, but I’ll focus most of my attention on the beautiful and quirky State of New Mexico, a place I’m proud to call home.   I hope you enjoy it!

Happy travels,

Mark
